Puerto Rico has gotten a lot of money and a lot of government employment from the mainland. They even got rid of some of the government employment they did not want. The island is corrupted. Trump knows this. The unions down there are the real privileged. A lot of supplies from the hurricane never made it to the people. Money for infrastructure over the years never made it to its intended purpose. So, they had water and electric systems that would go out quick and be hard to start up again to full capacity. And that is what happened. Teh governor of the island was berating Trump as she was a Prog. She ended up with some criminal charges several months later. Taxpayers get screwed.
