Which as a statement on the state of the country I will note is setting the bar incredibly low.
And it keeps getting lower and they'll keep on voting for it.

There is no incentive to do that. Our "system" rewards those who pick a side -- actually an END -- and start mindlessly firing away without concern of the ramifications.WHAT I notice is that 80% of what is posted daily, effects less than one% OF THE POPULATION.
Good ideas or bad,
Any one ???? looking fully at both sides of issues that effect the majority of Americans?
And only then picking a side, Not just based on political party preference.
based on information gathered from both pro and con sources.
We know we will lean toward our party's preference, But will make better choices
If we try and separate as much propaganda from our findings as possible.
It's cannot be changed quickly.... To deeply ingrained. Unfortunately that means they are going to get worse. This is the funny part: imagine spending your youth being a pursed-lipped, judgmental, moralizing prude.
A whole generation is just that. Literally in high school and college aged while they yelled at clouds like people in their late years.
It will never NOT be funny to me.
Funniest joke of the week. Compromise=surrendering yourselves to the enemy. Sorry, Big Mac. But with the Democrats doubling down on the loonytoons, it's time to finish them off. There is no incentive to do that. Our "system" rewards those who pick a side -- actually an END -- and start mindlessly firing away without concern of the ramifications.
If the two parties actually collaborated and innovated together, they'd both have skin in the game, instead of the weaker party doing everything it can to sabotage.
I don't know if we're ignoring that fact, or if we've forgotten it. Either way, it's killing us in real time. Those who have a vested professional interest in division are definitely winning.
Not sure I want to let them in on that fact.About time the Dems realized how badly they 'effed up.......~S~
That's the "system" under which the parties operate. The sad fact is, the American people don't care enough to fix this.It is easy to pick on either of the parties for the idiocies they have committed. The important thing is that both are in it for each other.
So I stumbled on to these two pieces today:
‘Devastating Political Consequences’: One Error That This Senior Dem Thinks Cost His Party Big
Gavin Newsom Jump-Started a Conversation Democrats Need to Have
Both of them infer that THE BIG problem is the Dems' overemphasis on transgender rights alone. They focus in on that one (1) issue. Yes, this is an important issue and a spectacularly dumb political tactic, but the transgender stuff was only the icing on the cake. The bathrooms, the flamboyant transgender folks reading to young children in class. BUT...
... that was just on top of everything else that created such animosity towards the Left -- the whole PC/Identity Politics thing. The screaming of RACIST and HOMOPHOBE and ISLAMOPHOBE at everything that moved. The deplatforming of conservative speakers on campus. The safe spaces and trigger warnings. The punishment of employees who "offended" the wrong person. The destruction of family businesses because they didn't want to bake a fucking cake. The refusal to allow the American flag on clothing because it "offended" somebody. The "toxic masculinity" and "cultural appropriation" crap. The participation ribbons. On and on and on and on.
Yes, transgender was the straw that broke the camel's back. But it was the FINAL straw, not the ONLY straw. I hope the Dems haven't lost sight of that.
