Anyone notes that peoples indigenous to the United States were generally not thought to be U. S. Nationals, even then(?). Original Penn Quakers, however, regarded even male and female, one in Christ, including in that manner, all humanity. The original United States not only embraced only 13 states, but allowed intolerance of anyone west of it, generally colored, and indentured enslaved--how many White people got here.

So the Democrats are celebrating inclusion at the top of the Executive Branch. The Republicans still can claim a national brand, celebrating bigotry, for their part. So the Democrats are making a Philadelphia Statement, of their politics. The Republicans remind us that even bigots, have rights too!
