That we need longer periods of time to define climate change ... ten's of millions of years ... anything in the Quaternary is just weather ...

And I'm arguing that temperature doesn't really correlate to carbon dioxide ... not in these longer time periods ... and not in the shorter periods ... the Atlantic Ocean is widening at an average rate of 120 mm/yr ... compared to sea levels rising at 3 mm/yr ... which is more catastrophic? ...

He's been telling us about his "doctorate" for years, but he won't tell us what university he's at, or how he got accepted into a doctoral program with no background in atmospheric physics. It's a stupid and obvious lie on his part.

I'm seeing Engineer's Arrogance Syndrome here. The most clueless deniers are often engineers. You see, they took some tech classes, so in their minds, that makes them experts in the ways of all science. Needless to say, it doesn't. Engineers are not scientists. And because they're so arrogant, they're so belligerant and stubborn about being wrong.

Don't know many physicists who get simple physics concepts mixed up, or who spend hours each day on a backwater political junkie forum which is apparently one of a few according to Billy_Bob himself that he hangs out in, precious time that could be spent doing you know, research, a dissertation - an actual job. But everyone here who apparently is ALL ABOUT THE DATA and being skeptical of the 'experts' never question how nothing about @Billy_Bog adds up and think reposting charts from whatever blog or some shit makes him a physicist or an expert. That's the standard of proof? He never posts anything that he could claim as his, no original work, no co-authored paper - nothing. There's just zero scrutiny from anyone who goes to bat for this. Why is that? It's not like acknowledging Billy_Bob is a total fraud when it comes to his credentials hampers anyone from continuing to be of the opinion that climate change is a hoax or whatever else. The two don't depend on each other. Billy_Bob has taken his beliefs a bit further and tried to fashion himself as something he is not and it is sort of mesmerizing watching people fall for it.

There's a big stickied thread refuting it. There's no point in doing it all again, given that we know all of the usual suspects would just tell the same lies and use the same deflections again. Everyone gets it, they lie for TheCult. There's no need to keep hammering on that point.
