I am not sure if those Americans siding with Israel over their own country, understand what type of spying Israel is doing.
Not ONLY is it looking to understand Americas policies, plans, and strategies (every nation spies for that sort of stuff) but it does so to actively subvert those policies, plans and strategies, to make the US a tool of Israeli interests.

It actively looks to use what it finds to corrupt senators, congressmen and businessmen.
Go to Israel and if they might use you, you will have your own personal surveillence team. If you are high profile enough, in the US too. They will not share your secrets, but they will ask favours ...

And the industrial / military espionage is aimed not only at taking expensively developed US secrets for Israeli use, but to sell on the world market too. A nice little earner, that one.

If Russia were to do all that, it would move the US to a virtual war footing.
If Britain were to do all that, it would be stomped on so hard it would run away to the busom of the EU, crying.
