U.S getting spyed on by ally AGAIN?!!!

Are there any places in Gaza where civilians don't live? It is like the Warsaw Ghetto, there is no room, they are being starved and isolated. Unlike the Warsaw Ghetto, the Nazis did not have support from the Americans and other Europeans as Israel has. Essentially, the Americans and Europeans have given Israeli Jews the right to starve and beat down the non-Jews until they submit. But, they won't submit. That's the rub. Nice people those Israeli Jews, they learned from their former oppressors.

Why not show us some pictures of the starving Gazans compared to the starving Somalis who drop dead in their roads because of starvation. By the way, the Nazis learned from the Muslims. When the world said nothing when the Muslim Turks murdered over a million Armenians along with Assyrians and Greeks, Hitler figured that he could get away with killing millions of people too. One can see why the Nazis who wanted to escape trials after the way ran to the Middle East where they knew they would find friends.

They can't find any place to establish bases to operate from????

Yet if the Palestinians followed some simple INTERNATIONAL LAWS the numbers would have been greatly reduced and not one civilian would have been murdered by hamas. Yes MURDERED because ignore INTERNATIONAL LAW in regards to protecting your civilians is MURDER. Were are the police to arrest the militia who set up in civilian areas, were are the shelters to protect the women and children in case of an attack. So in fact according to International Law not one civilian has been killed in Israeli attacks, they have been murdered by hamas who use them as HUMAN SHIELDS

International Law??? Israel doesn't even know the meaning of the words. Israel has been in violation of International Law since 1967, and continue to expand on it to this day.

I wonder if Palestinian Propaganda Shills and Radical Islamist Useful Idiots like to eat MAC and cheese, before they talk about Israeli spying?

One need to look no further than a satellite view of Gaza via Google Earth et al , to see what a crock of shit that (no place to position war-assets except for heavily populated civilian areas) truly is.

They're popping every week now lol.

Of course Hamas doesn't put their military building/weapon storage facilities in a secluded area away from civilians... If they did, they know that Israel would destroy all of them without any civilian casualties. It's obvious that Hamas want as many civilian casualties as possible to play the victim card.

This administration! Where have you been? We are doing more now; but there is a very good chance the administration knew the extent any more than previous ones knew. All countries do it and it makes me laugh when some appear to be so shocked when they officially learn about it. We have had spies all over the world since before the ink dried on the Constitution. At that time it was only France and England but we increased fast.
Did you ever hear of "The dirty trick" section of the CIA? Look back at the cold war. We were no better than Russia and they were no better than us.

We are only Israel's friend as long as we are of use to them and them to us. I'd hate to have my life depend on either.

Take a look on google earth and see how 50% of gaza is barren land with not a building in sight.

So you will have no problems in producing the evidence that shows Israel is in breach of International Law since 1967. The actual laws and the arrest warrants issued by the Hague for those breaches.

A clue is to read the Geneva conventions in their entirety to see that they are actually well within the limits of International law.

You can see the tens of millions of starving gazans in those pictures laying down like sardines in a tin. The clouds of flies buzzing around the rotting corpses of the children that died of malnutrition.

No, your evasion of the topic is "Two Wrongs make a right" :)

every country spies on every other country when they have the capability.

we only get threads like this when israel is at issue.

and again, pollard SHOULD be released. his sentence was disproportionate to every similar instance.

..under customary international law as reflected (...) in Article 42 of the Regulations Respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land annexed to the Fourth Hague Convention of 18 October 1907 (hereinafter “the Hague Regulations of 1907”), territory is considered occupied when it is actually placed under the authority of the hostile army, and the occupation extends only to the territory where such authority has been established and can be exercised. The territories situated between the Green Line (see paragraph 72 above) and the former eastern boundary of Palestine under the Mandate were occupied by Israel in 1967 during the armed conflict between Israel and Jordan. Under customary international law, these were therefore occupied territories in which Israel had the status of occupying Power. Subsequent events in these territories, as described in paragraphs 75 to 77 above, have done nothing to alter this situation. All these territories (including East Jerusalem) remain occupied territories and Israel has continued to have the status of occupying Power.

Just a reminder from a previous poster......

Israel has continuously evaded its responsibility to implement the Fourth Geneva Convention, the convention that deals most comprehensively with the obligations of an occupying power toward civilians in occupied territory. Israel argues that the occupied territory was not under another nation's sovereign control, which it contends is a prerequisite to application of the Convention. Israel's position is disputed universally, even by Israel's close friend the United States. The International Committee of the Red Cross, the organization charged with overseeing implementation of the Convention, also opposes Israel's position.

Since 1967, Israel has systematically violated significant provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention. These violations have been directed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including the territory of east Jerusalem annexed into Israel, and civilians in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention include, in part, the following:

Systematic torture, in violation of articles 27, 31, 32, and 147.

Collective punishment, like demolition and sealing of houses and restrictions on movement, in violation of articles 33 and 53.

Prolonged closures that lead, for example, to loss of income from employment, without providing alternative sources of income for the residents, in violation of article 39.

Massive establishment of settlements of Israeli citizens in the occupied territory, in violation of articles 49 and 53.

Detention and imprisonment of residents of the occupied territory in prison facilities located within Israel, in violation of article 76.

Administrative detention of thousands of Palestinians for prolonged periods, grossly exceeding the provisions of article 78, in violation of article 49.

Revocation of residency rights in the occupied territory comprising East Jerusalem, in violation of article 47.

Expropriation and exploitation of the natural resources existing in the occupied territory to meet the needs of the occupying power, in violation of article 55.

B'Tselem cautions against further attempts by Israel and the Palestinian Authority to use provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention as bargaining chips during the peace process. According to the Convention, neither Israel nor the PA, as representative of the local, protected population, has any right to agree to any act that is not in full compliance with the Convention. Neither Israel nor the PA has any right to sacrifice human rights in the name of achieving peace.

On its part, B'Tselem will continue its fight to ensure strict compliance with all the provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention and protect human rights in the Occupied Territories.

Which tells you that the occupation is LEGAL under INTERNATIONAL LAW. You just shot yourself in both feet

And yet not one scrap of evidence to back up the claims, and " COS I SAY SO " is not evidence. The fact remains that very nearly in every clause of the Geneva conventions there is an override that says subject to security considerations

OK so you admit Israel is an occupying power. As an occupying power, they have no right to annex conquered territory, which does violate international law. Building Israeli settlements in occupied territory violates international law. AnnexingAnnexing occupied East Jerusalem violates international law. Thanks for your help!
