Tyson Foods’ Iowa plant to permanently close

Tyson Foods supplies most of the meat products for the military. They're based out of Arkansas. Guess who else is based out of Arkansas.

Where is your announcement from Tyson, they are looking to replace them will illegal aliens? Have you heard of an influx of illegals in the new plant in your state, less than a hundred miles from you? It is about 15 miles from me, and I have not heard or observed and influx of illegal to get those jobs. It is mostly staffed and operating, using Tennesseans.

The healthy ones in Tennessee?

50 million.

Lol
they are not saying the recent 10 million over the past 3 years, I think they are saying this country holds 50 million who in total exist in this country coming from all over the globe over the decades.
Do you not count ones you met in the 80s 90s 2000s? The ones that caused us to make a law about businesses requiring citizens only hiring and to list that on job forms-you know the law companies have been breaking recently, like Tyson.

If yopu bwant to reduce the number of illegals wanting to come to the US, go after the companies that hire them.

Politicians spend all of their time going after the illegals because they don't vote or donate money to campaigns.

It is more efficient to go after the companies hiring illegals.

In America the only thing to do if fire the lazy good for nothing workers demanding high wages and hire immigrants who are willing to work for 5 bucks an hour.

It's an American employers' right and there can be no regulations or worker protections standing in the way!

Uncontrolled and unhampered employers' rights are wots good for America!

fk the unions in America! Wit ununs dere is too much strengt.

No, enforce the existing laws that govern immigration.

You have to be advocating giving workers the power they need to fight against companies that hire cheap immigrant labour!

There's only one way to do that and that's to strike.

But warning, that empowering socialist ideals.

Tyson Foods have been drug-trafficking from South America for decades.
Now they're human-trafficking from everywhere else.

Thanks Hillary

Wow.....so you'll see the changes soon first-hand.

Great.

This would be illegal if the gop would vote to fine employers like Trump seriously enough to force compliance with law
Well here is a couple of actual facts aboout this:

60% of the Tyson workforce are Immigrants or Refugees...
Plant is closing for a number of reasons... Pork over supply, Factory configuration

"But two things stand out about the plant: its age, at 61 years for the main facility, and, according to an industry analyst, its size, which doesn't lend itself to an efficiency-increasing second shift."

So while it is nice to blame immigrants, it looks like they were the ones keeping it open.

One of the main costs to the community was that this facility killed 9,000 pigs a day...
