First the first time in 47 years, Iran is on the verge of toppling an oppressive regime that has crippled people's civil liberties and economy. Despite what may be a historic event of liberation, there has not been a peep from the "Free Palestine" crowd. There have no protests in support on the streets. Nobody blocking the streets waving Iranian flags. Nobody organizing sit-ins and demonstrations on university campuses, nothing from Greta.

The answer to this is, of course, obvious. The Free Palestine movement was never about Palestinians. It was never about liberation or freedom. It was always about hating the Jews.

Most of the free Palestine movement in the USA are led by Jews. I’m really surprised you of all people came to that conclusion. Some of your points may be interesting but this whole idea that it was about hating Jews is categorically false. It makes no sense because the whole pro Palestine movement in the USA is in large part spearheaded by Jews, who don’t like the Netanyahu government….and Jewish journalists like Glenn Greenwald and Dave Smith who are adamantly critical of the war in Gaza. Lots of lefties and righties are against the current government in Iran. That doesn’t mean they all want foreign intervention though.

It’s the Netanyahu lobby trying to brainwash you. It’s important to move past whatever you see on the mainstream media, which is never really a full representation of what’s actually going on. For example, the current government in Israel is framing The whole thing as the left-wing allying with so-called islamists to be against Israel. That is nonsense as massive amounts of conservative young Christians are against supporting the Israeli government. See they want to frame things in a certain way and they want you to fall for these types of ideas.
