I think it is more a thing in the sprawling megalopolis shithole major cities. I have never known why anybody chose to live in one. You really don't hear of that kind of thing in small to mid cities, and never in small town. All the counties around Madison County have population densities ranging from 33 people up to 60 people per square mile. The area you are talking about is definitely more of a big city area with big city problems, does not have constitutional carry, and does not recognize TN carry permits, making them part of a shithole state, I wouldn't be caught dead in.
