Turnover machine, Mahomes or Allen

He has ONE bad game this year and all of a sudden he is a turnover machine?Okay. :uhoh3: Funny thst you don’t want to talk about how the refs allow players to commit personal fouls on him on a regular basis that don’t get called unlike shady brady where you couldn’t even breath on him without a personal foul getting called.

Thank I’m making this up? Watch the opener against the ravens when he was long out of bounds and he was unnessarily shoved yet no yellow flag was thrown fir unnessary roughness.

watch the chiefs pats playoff game when a chiefs player got called a personal foul penalty merely for just slapping brady on the shoulder pad which was critical in them keeping a drive alive to win the game yet a much more far vicious hit against Mahomes happened yet no flag was thrown,

The announcers as well as Mahomes could not believe that NON call against him.unlike shady brady,Mahomes has to compete AGAINST the refs which makes them being the first team to win back to back superbowls sense then all the more impressive.

Mahomes has also had 17 interceptions overturned by late flags or calls from New York in the last 2 years. Directly influencing the outcome of several games.

Cool story. How many times has Allen won the MVP? A SB? The SB MVP? Beaten Mahomes when it matters (POs). Pretty sure it’s the same answer for all those questions.
Allen was 13 seconds away from beating Mahomes in the playoffs. If Tyler Bass doesn’t miss a fg Allen has a good chance of beating Mahomes last year. I don’t deny Mahomes’s greatness, but Josh Allen is also great.

I don't deny the Chiefs have had some lucky breaks. But many of those interference calls are created by the fact that Mahomes presents such a threat. The defense pull out all the stops because the Chiefs are so good at making plays when it counts. And, all too often, defenders cross the line, push too hard and draw the flag.

So did they win or lose that game? Allen is a very talented QB who can’t win the big game. I dont understand why it's important to you that the QB who plays for your team be seen as on par or better than Mahomes. He isnt and wont be unless he wins a SB or 2. Dan Marino was a phenomenal QB but no one even mentions him in the GOAT convo. It's the hit on Jackson as well. Right wrong or indifferent QB success is almost solely based on SB wins. Let me ask you this. Would you rather have Allen, win the division every year, make the POs but never make or win a SB for 10 years or Trent Dilfer and win 2 SB's over 10 years or even just 1. Josh Allen or Eli Manning. Allen no SB's, Manning 2? Who would you rather have?

Josh Allen IS a great QB. And a cool guy from what I can tell. But that thirteen seconds game really got to the core of what makes the Chiefs so good. And a huge part of it has been the connection between Kelce and Mahomes. Kelce is a receiver who thinks like a QB (he used to play the position). He knows exactly where to go to bail out Mahomes when he's scrambling. And Mahomes knows where Kelce will be. Those two can throw out the planned routes and play backyard football better than anyone ever has.

There was also a play, last year in the AFC Championship, against the Ravens, that showed the connection.

So if Tyler Bass makes the field goal at the end of the game that means Josh Allen is a better Quarterback? If the Bills execute a squib kick at the end of that game Josh Allen is a better Quarterback?

Sometimes when you win you’re lucky to do so, and when you lose sometimes it’s because of bad luck.

If you’re analyzing physical attributes then Allen has Mahomes beat. He has a bigger arm than Mahomes and is faster and stronger than Mahomes. Josh Allen leads the league in total touchdowns over the past few seasons.

I don’t think Mahomes wins a superbowl if not for Kelce or Chris Jones. Those two players are better than any players on the bills not named Josh Allen

cry and whine all you want but if Mahomes and Allen both retired today, Mahomes is a 1st ballot HOFer and Allen likely doesn't get in.

I agree. Josh Allen has a stronger arm and is more versatile than Patrick Mahomes. When the Bills win the Super Bowl in February, Josh Allen will be the talk of the elite of elite quarterbacks.

Have to agree.
In ANY professional sport, championships won is always a factor in distinguishing "The Best" from being "one of the greats"

Allen would certainly make the hall. Denying that is just blind ignorance. By the way, Mahomes was 0-2 vs Brady when it matters. Blown out in the biggest one.
If he retired right now there’s no way he’s in the HOF. 0 SBs. 0 MVPs. He’s .500 in the POs. He’s barely in the top 100 in passing yards (95) 75th in TDs. Do you think Rivers and Palmer will get in? I don’t. Rivers is 6th all time in yards btw. Allen is on a HOF trajectory for sure but right now he’s not in. Mahomes is a 1st ballot guy already.
