And, to give SS protection to someone before they win their parties nomination for the general is just a waste of money. What if they lose the primaries? Then, that money is wasted on a candidate who will never see the general election or the presidency.

Yes, there are cases where it has been given early, but those had extenuating circumstances.

If you watch the interview, you will see that is not the case …other candidates received secret service protection 500 days out of the election including people who never got the nomination for the party. RFK Junior is more popular than a number of these people so it is beyond belief that he has not been provided Secret Service protection.
