Exactly. What government is more likely to be authoritarian and suppress freedom - a large centralized government or a small decentralized limited government.

Not only are large collectivist states needed to implement an efficient genocide, they are also needed to create world conquering war machines.

In effect, they are death machines on a grand scale.

But then, these same collectivists are also preoccupied with the increasing world population, so in their sick and twisted minds perhaps these death machines are needed to curb these populations.

That way they can keep down carbon emissions and have more natty gas for their furnace.
