Yeah, okay, good for you, but totally off-topic here.
No, not off topic, because you used the very MAGA math which is so hilariously wrong.

Not necessarily ground troops, we have control of the air, and after a few demonstration strikes I'm sure that the generalissimos will throw Maduro under the bus and welcome Gonzalezas the rightful "presidente".
So a year from now will Venezuela still be (allegedly) a rogue state insofar as the drug trade goes? If so, does that mean the blob would have failed?

But the opinion from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel justifying the strikes remains classified.
This administration has not earned anyone’s trust, especially when it comes to their justification for homicide.

Nope. Drug deaths skyrocketed because of Purdue and the Sacklers. The epidemic was created INTERNALLY.
Then Trump let them go free with a fine.
No more excuses, son. It's a plain fact drug deaths skyrocketed at a faster rate under Trump than under Biden. In fact, they were on the decline by the end of the Biden era. Biden bent the curve downward. But that doesn't fit your narrative, so you hid the truth.
Purdue created the epidemic, and it was too late by the time they got their slap on the wrist. The cartels simply acted as all capitalists do. Once the Sacklers were out of the picture, the cartles stepped in to fill the demand the Sacklers had created.
There is no excuse for why your Dear Leader let the Sacklers walk,
OFF-TOPIC. This thread is about the 400,000 American lives lost during Biden's term, and how many will be saved during Trump-47's term.

TRUMP HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SACKLERS DUMBASS. THE CASE WAS SETTLED UNDER BIDEN'S TERM:
In March 2021, Purdue Pharma filed a restructuring plan to dissolve itself and establish a new company dedicated to programs designed to combat the opioid crisis. The proposal was for the Sackler family to pay an additional US$4.2 billion over the next nine years to resolve various civil claims in exchange for immunity from criminal prosecutions. This "legal firewall" was opposed by 24 state attorneys-general, as well as the attorney-general for Washington, D.C. "If the Sacklers are allowed to use bankruptcy to escape the consequences of their actions," said the state AGs who called the proposal legally unprecedented, "it would be a roadmap for other powerful bad actors."

What math is wrong?
FACT: 400,000 Americans died from drugs during Biden's term.
FACT: ~180,000 fewer Americans will die under Trump-47's term unless democrats stop Trump's war on the drug cartels.

Before the boat bombings had even begun, Pam Bond claimed Donald Trump's war on drugs had saved 75 percent of the US population. She even demanded the US media pay attention to this hilarious "fact" as Dear Leader preened at this announcement.

Since then, Trump has bombed, what, seven boats so far?

Trump claims each bombing saves 25,000 American lives.

Drug deaths had declined to 80,000 in 2024.

7 x 25,000 = 175,000

WOO HOO! There will be no drug deaths for the next TWO YEARS!!

The cult swallows this bullshit whole.

Mouth-breathers.

Riddle me this...
Will congress support or oppose Trump's initiatives to remake Venezuela and Columbia and Mexico to be independent of the drug cartels?

Nationbuilding has never worked so I hope not. That being said, Congress has done very little to stop the blob for the high seas piracy or the new and improved airborne assaults. So does it matter if Congress supports or opposes him?

Exactly what are Trump's initiatives? Have you seen them? Looked at them?

How do they differ from every past Administration's efforts?

Boots on the ground? We've done that.

Bombing drug labs? Done that.

Spraying chemicals on the drug plantations? Done that, but you can't spray opioid plantations since that's now how it works.

Extradicting drug lords? Been there, done that.

Wasting billions of dollars? Got the T-shirt.

The US sunk 23 drug runner boats so far in 2025.
Most of which were not headed for the US, there goes your math.
The 25,000 lives saved is computed from the volume of drugs carried by the boats.

Exactlly. Retarded MAGA math.

For legitimacy I do hope congress supports Trump's Caribbean initiative to save lives and reduce Chinese influence in our hemisphere.

During Joe Biden's term ~400,000 American lives were lost due to drugs, especially fentanyl and cocaine.
Why? Partly because Biden and democrats did not actively go after drug cartels or drug dealers the way Trump is.
Another factor was Biden's open borders allowing the maximum flow of drugs into the US.

There is no total seizure total for drugs during Biden's term, but...

The Sackler family started the opioid crisis in the 1990s, but then the drug cartels continued to kill Americans at increasing rates...

View attachment 1192879
2024 93,000 deaths (12% drop from 2023)

2025 ~70,000 estimated deaths (27% decline from 2024)

2026 ~50,000 estimated deaths (30% decline from 2025)

At current rates at least 180,000 US lives can be saved by reducing the availability of drugs during Trump-47's term compared to Biden's term.

I see the MSM and democrats whining and promoting fake news about sinking "fishing boats" and "war crimes" for killing drug runners, but they never look at the American lives being saved, why not????

Choose between saving US lives with a "war" on the drug cartels, or, allowing the drug cartels to kill Americans as the government stands by helplessly.
<~~~~~~>
Stop and think about it. war against Vietnam/Marxism America lost a total of nearly 59,000 souls in nineteen years, yet in 4 year period of Joey Biden we lost over 400,000 to drug overdosing.

For legitimacy I do hope congress supports Trump's Caribbean initiative to save lives and reduce Chinese influence in our hemisphere.
So a year from now, will Venezuela still be a transit point for cocaine or not?

15th post
That being illegally. You know fentanyl isn't coming from Caribbean countries, right?
<~~~~~~>
Since when has Mexico not a Caribbean country?
Cocaine is the second most popular illegal recreational drug in the United States, following cannabis. The U.S. is the largest consumer of cocaine globally, with significant usage trends observed over the years.
Often blended with Fentanyl.
Cocaine is often mixed with fentanyl, which can be dangerous because users may not be aware they are consuming fentanyl, increasing the risk of overdose. This combination has contributed to a rise in overdose deaths in the U.S.
The sainted George Floyd of Democrat history is a prime example of Fentanyl self overdosing.

Boiling all of your concerns down to a single question: do you want to save ~180,000 US lives or not?

I agree that the drug trade will continue as long as it is profitable, always has.
But capitulation to the cartel drug lords and China is a national security disaster.

Trump's hints at initiatives are: Maduro's days are numbered in Venezuela, and Columbia is next. We know he doesn't like the China-Brazil alliance. We know he wants Panama back. He also said that land attacks are coming, not sure if he means in Mexico or not.

False premise. You blindly accept Trump's figure. That's precisely what makes you a cult.

Have you read or seen Trump's initiatives? How do they differ from the past?
