It is a known fact in economics that a tax on consumption is superior to a tax on production. This is why I favor getting rid of the income tax and replacing it with the Fair Tax.

Just so with our drug problem. We need to deal with the consumption side of the problem, not the production side.

We need to decrease the demand for drugs.

More treatment centers, more hospitals, more harm reduction programs. Drug addiction is a disease and we should treat it as such.
