Steve Bannon, Trump's Top Guy, Told Me He Was 'A Leninist' Who Wants To āDestroy the Stateā
. āIām a Leninist,ā Bannon proudly proclaimed.
I asked him what he meant.
āLenin,ā he answered, āwanted to destroy the state, and thatās my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of todayās establishment.ā Bannon was employing Leninās strategy for Tea Party populist goals. He included in that group the Republican and Democratic Parties, as well as the traditional conservative press.
Only one question remains. Knowing this, why do leaders like Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and others, who regularly condemn Trumpās statements but yet still endorse him, stick with such a self-defeating approach? They will only end up helping Bannon and company cast them into oblivion and finish their hostile take-over of the GOP.
--------------------
Is that what the GOP wants? America destroyed. I've often thought they felt this way, but confirmation is another thing.
