So, yesterday, I was talking with a New York CPA/Attorney buddy of mine, and he's saying Trump is in a world of shit over what the taxes are showing.
Evidently he set up a couple of dozen shell sole proprietorships (not corporations, but sole proprietorships since he knew he'd never make a penny with them), made $0 with them, but claimed millions of dollars of deductions (losses from his shitty business management) against each of them -- something I guess he got in trouble for, back in 1984 (I think). You. Cannot. Do. That. And a NY judge told him, back then.
All in all, and I love the way my friend said this, "he made over $150 million disappear". LOL
He paid CHINESE taxes of $200,000 vs. USA taxes of $0 recently.
My buddy listed off a couple of others. And don't forget, Trump's old accounting firm (Mazars?) cut ties with him last year, saying they can't verify any of the information he gave them.
Trump is a crook. A con man. A grifter. This is just getting started.

I don't know as fact that he was just doing it as A political, bragging rights move, but it certainly appeared that way to me! I'm not with you on him not wanting to make money off of his presidency, for Trump.
It is not in his personality or character, to not consider money, and himself, first! I have followed him, and his life, since high school, when I lived in Brooklyn! He isn't who you believe he is....imo!
That being said, him donating his salary and sticking with it, was something I see as good, that he has done.... It was a hit or miss, in my mind on which way he would go.... Stick with it, or renege..... He stuck with it, he did good.
