Yes, first thing that came to mind was Biden EPA messing with fertilizers.Feed prices and fertilizer prices are paramount in that battle. Both have been driven up by carbon regulations.
I repeat, typing lies is easy, proving them is hard. You really aren't that dumb. Nobody is. The idea that some mythical middle man pays the tax is gob smacking. The tax is passed on to consumers. Americans. They pay it so that elon pays less. Its really a simple equation. If it wasn't simple trump wouldn't understand it,
Fertilizer prices have doubled and actually nearly tripled in the past 5 years. It's a catastrophe both for the farmers and for food prices.Yes, first thing that came to mind was Biden EPA messing with fertilizers.

If US consumers had to pay the tariffs they would just buy domestically produced products without tariffs.
Actually no, not consumers. Its US businesses not consumers paying the tariffs. Not necessarily. In some cases, they'll just do without or find an alternative that is a better deal. There are some who think domestic businesses are raising their prices because of the tariffs. Could be, but to deny that US consumers and businesses will bear the primary burden of higher prices due to tariffs is to deny reality.
Manufactures are paying inflation slowingA 2019 study conducted by economists at Columbia University, Princeton University, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York found that American consumers and companies were paying nearly the full cost of Trump’s tariffs.

Trump tariffs rake in big money, but who is paying?
Donald Trump's tariffs are impacting global trade. American firms pay the tariffs on imported goods. This increases costs, affecting consumers. Despite this, foreign exporters face reduced sales. They also experience instability in supply chains. The tariffs create uncertainty for international...

The tariffs can pay off the deficit in 2 years. Inflation is slowing wages are up taxes cut for the middle class and seniors increasing their spending power. Trumps plan is working Biden was a disasterTo desperately needing tariffs to be harmful and wreck the economy onto fellow countrymen to score invisible political points against a president, that's wrong.
THanks to Bidens debt based massive expansion of government. The tariffs are bringing in 1 trillion a year. That pays off the annual deficit of 1.6 trillion. Then the national debt can be reduced by spending cuts all opposed by democratsToday the debt is 37 trillion
You are still full of shit on yer numbers because there are variables to that amount.THanks to Bidens debt based massive expansion of government. The tariffs are bringing in 1 trillion a year. Who is paying for Trump's tariffs? So far, it's US businesses.
Name themYou are still full of shit on yer numbers because there are variables to that amount.
Not necessarily. If they pass all the tariff cost they lose market share. Its a complex problem, eat the tariffs or lose customers. The tariffs probably don't eat into their profit margin very much, so why lose customers? The importing businesses pay the tariff and then pass the cost onto the consumers in the form of higher prices. They might try to find ways to shift some of that cost to other products or something but make no mistake: one way or another it ends up costing consumers more for the same thing, either for the tariffed items or the domestic alternatives.
