Trump’s Syrian Maneuver Works – President Erdogan Asks for Negotiations With Kurds in Syria

oh, last and certainly not least, let's remember the Nobel Peace Prize Winner invaded Syria not only without Congressional approval to do so but also without the approval or request to do so from the leader or govt of the sovereign nation he invaded - which, according to the UN - is an International War Crime!

That's one helluva 'Legacy'...and that's not even all of it.

Another Obama legacy ends and a new legacy for Trumpybear begins.

Bwuhahahaha....

Barry armed, financed, supplied, trained, protected, and defended ISIS.

Says our resident conspiracy theorist. Info wars, like 'Sundance' and his blog, isn't a primary source.

Barry LOVED terrorists!

You...you know you're batshit crazy, right?
You know you're a reality denier, right? All of this has been backed up by fact...Links enough to choke on have been produced and posted by dozens of non-Barry nut-hugging reality deniers.

Remember when leaving Iraq, on the orders of a democratically elected (under U.S. tutelage) Iraqi government, was the biggest foreign policy blunder in a century? Remember when trying a "reset" with Russia was akin to treason?

Those were the days. Now Trump relinquishes all leverage, and even a seat at the table, when the future of Syria (and much of the region) is being decided, and the ME is handed to Iran, Turkey, and Russia on a silver platter. All the while the U.S. moves in, again, serving as the Saudis' mercenaries, defending their vulnerable oil infrastructure, with billions of dollars in military hardware.

And betrays a long time US ally in the process. Eroding trust in the US even further.

Japan should be very, very concerned with Trump's rambling 'logic' of why he betrayed the US allied Kurds: They didn't fight along side us WW2.

No wonder confidence in US leadership has absolutely plummeted under Trump.

Japan is fine.
Only our allies who don't pay up yet want our military defense in return have doubts.
And well they should. F'in welfare Queen watchers!

Are you sure? Do the Japanese 'pay in Cash'? Did they help us in WW2?

The Kurds fought and died fighting ISIS for us. And we completely threw them under the bus, pushing them to Syria and the Russians.

The US has demonstrated, yet again, that we're an unreliable ally. Confidence in US leadership has rightly plummeted.
You're an clueless idiot. The Kurds did not fight or die for us. They fought and died still are fighting and dying for their own independent state as they have done for decades.

The Kurds fought shoulder to shoulder with our special forces, coordinating with our military in strikes we helped planned. WIth the Kurds being the front line troops in OUR fight against ISIS in the region. When Trump says that 'we captured ISIS', he means that the Kurds captured ISIS, with US special forces fighting along side Kurdish troops.

And Trump, on a whim, abandoned them with no planning for the aftermath but rambling missive via twitter about his 'wisdom'.

And demonstrated yet again, that the US is an unreliable ally. Trust in US leadership has rightly plummeted.

President Trump has played this out perfectly. By isolating Turkish President Recep Erdogan, and effectively leaving him naked to an alliance of his enemies, Erdogan is now urgently asking for the U.S. to mediate peace negotiations with Kurdish forces.

This request happens immediately after President Trump signed an executive order [See Here] triggering the sanction authority of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Erdogan called the White House requesting an urgent phone call with President Trump.

After President Trump talked to Kurdish General Mazloum Kobani Abdi, the commander of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, President Trump then discussed the options available to President Erdogan. As a result of that conversation, Erdogan requested the U.S. mediate negotiations. Vice-President Mike Pence announces he will be traveling to the region with National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien to lead that effort. WATCH:

SSSHHH. Don’t tell the NeoCons, the demonRATS the Never Trumper’s and, not a few Trump supporter hand-wringers about this.

It’ll burst the false narrative bubble that the president doesn’t know what the hell he’s doing and is simply acting in knee jerk fashion to keep a campaign promise. Neglecting to note of course that if that was all it was he could have done this 2.5 years ago.
Now, take that negotiation strategy and apply it to the rest of the middle east.

NO MORE WARS. YEAY!!!

Dude, your rambling, batshit conspiracy theories that Obama 'supplied and trained ISIS' aren't 'reality'.

They're the insanity born of a steady diet of far right blogs like 'Sundance' and 'ConsevativeTreeHouse' as the basis of what you consider reality.

Which might explain why you were so eager to accept Sundance and his blog as a primary source.

It is. He cleaned up the Iraq Civil war that resulted from Bushes occupation and started the coalition on the path to destroying ISIS's strongholds in Iraq and Syria. With the US supplying air support and logistics to our allied troops on the ground victory was near certain.

A Lasting Defeat: The Campaign to Destroy ISIS

Several NATO members are rightly concerned about the ISIS prisoners. I'm sure they were all surprise and alarmed by Trumpybears sudden gut decision.

One of the goal of the Trumpybear is to weaken the NATO alliance.

Putin smiles.

Sorry.
Edrogan and his invasion take the full responsibility for that.
The EU better prepare for 4+ million new refugees.
And that makes ME smile as the socialist Eurotrash deserve nothing less!

Trump truly gave our military the order to stand down and not support the coalition forces that helped destroy ISIS. Without that assurance Egodan would never have invaded.

You no way, no how know that for sure.

I'd like to see that "whim", and what kind of dollar value is attached to it, and where it shows up in Trump's tax returns. Wouldn't you?

“But, but, but, 50 of our nukes are being held hostage!”

The left are incapable of giving the President credit for getting us out of this mess and exposing Turkey for the Islamic thugs they are.
You know that Kurds and Syrians are Muslim too?
Since you watch only foxnews, I'll tell you what side the US gain from all of this.
1.the US lost more allies.
2. The IS can't be trusted.
3. US influence in the region is shrinking faster than trump's underwear.

You gonna tell me fuck the world...fair, don't cry when the US companies can't get a fair share of markets in the countries that will lean towards China.

Um, TRUMP has exposed many of our so called allies as being nothing more than parasites.

Particularly the Euros; let Putin eat them alive, since they're so determined to suck up to the thug and his clients in the ME.

Trump was having the consequences of his 'wisdom' decribed to him today.

REAL leaders consider the consequences before they take action. Not have them described to him like a child in primary school AFTER.

Confidence in US leadership has rightly plummeted.....as US leadership is now dumb as a game show host.

Only plummeted with those that owe us and don't pay their bills on time.
They'll come around. Takers really have no choice but to!

Confidence in US leadership plummeted everywhere.....but Russia and Israel.

Neither of which pay any bills to us. With the US paying Israel about 4 billion a year.

And Israeli intelligence is worth every penny of it.

Proving once again you're a loonie.
Suck it, snowflake:

US Choice to Drop Leaflets in Syria Contrasts with Russian Way of War

"The leaflets telling Syrian truck drivers to run for their lives were emblematic of the stark differences between the U.S. and Russian air campaigns that will make greater cooperation pushed by the White House again Thursday difficult to achieve."

Per your own article:

"We combine these leaflet drops with very low altitude passes of some of our attack aviation, which sends a very powerful message," Army Col. Steve Warren, a spokesman for Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, said in Wednesday from Baghdad during a teleconference at the Pentagon.

The leaflet drop was more evidence of the pains taken by the U.S. in air tasking orders to avoid civilian casualties through precision weaponry and the use of intelligence assets in contrast to indiscriminate Russian airstrikes with "dumb bombs," Warren said.

So, my little conspiracy theorist.....per the wasteland of your insanity, taking pains to avoid civilian casualties is 'treason'?

Laughing....no wonder you use 'Sundance' and his blog as your primary source on Syria.

Since Trump moved into Saudi to check the Iranians there, being exposed in Kurdistan also would be a bad position, but re the OP I certainly hope Trump's maneuvering works out the way he plans, but I don't hold out much hope for Turkey not slaughtering the Kurds. The Gulf is the more critical hotspot by far than Syria, by the way, and the Israelis can easily handle Turkey and Syria with no worries re Egypt and Saudi on their flanks, and Jordan will hold fast against all comers.

So what 'bills' are the Israelies paying on time, exactly?

The Russians?

As those are the two countries where Confidence in US leadership has skyrocketed.

The rest of the world? Not so much.

Yes, I'm sure he divested millions of bucks from huge projects in Kurdistan just before withdrawing.

God you guys are idiots.
