Yeah, he's not a great public speaker and he certainly doesn't do well with prepared speeches. He's real....just look at all the great public speakers with prepared speeches that just lied....like Obama.

That's part of the reason Trump is polling so much better then your party...

He needs to keep citizens motivated and ensure the message is given to citizens. It wasn't a long speech, it was quick and to the point with a bit of additional details.

It was fine. If he stood there for an hour that would be different.

Your poll options are too narrow for me to answer.

I think the speech did him no harm, but it was too Stephen Millerish--I'm pretty sure Miller wrote it--to do him any good either. Those who hate him will not acknowledge his accomplishments. Those who support him already know about his accomplishments he listed.

But I think the speech did not address those kitchen table issues that most Americans care most about. $2 'cheap' bread or $2.50 a head iceberg lettuce is what they care about. Declining interest rates and transportation costs will eventually bring those costs down, but he should have provided some insurance about that.

He should have written his own speech.
