He just wants to be rid of Ukraine. Despite our treaty with them. (Which has repercussions coming in the future) Helping Ukraine is expensive and there is no economic benefit....there is an economic punishment for helping Ukraine.

The USA did have an economic relationship with Russia. Metals, fuel, equipment and etc.

The EU is more fearful of Russia due to their weak militaries. They have been relying upon the USA to bail them out if anything happened. That is NOT the treaty that we have with NATO. The USA is not their police force.
Poland can be the EU's police force....but they want $$$$ in return. Yeah....that's the problem they want to avoid.

So...there are issues with the EU....overrun with Africans and Middle Eastern populations....this won't set well if they begin drafting people.
