It's understandable DeVos, being a staunch, wealthy conservative would want her loyal staff to fight to keep the U.S. public school system inferior to those in other developed countries.

Keeping the masses uneducated and dismissive of education and the educated, keeps conservatism strong.

The educated "elitists" are progressive because they possess the ability to analyze facts, understand cause and effect, and make informed decisions.

Conservatives require FOX Noise, their politicians, and their clergy to tell them what and how to think. This dependence on such limited sources gives the RWNJs the confidence they need to believe they know more than all experts in every topic.

The threads they initiate on these message boards, and their responses to others demonstrate this universal belief among the RWNJs that their inherent knowledge is superior to that of all learned professionals, regardless of subject.
