No. The House's job was to determine if enough evidence existed to justify a trial where witnesses can be called and testimony can be evaluated. Similar to what a Grand Jury does before a Trial. The House did that, and it's now the Senate's obligation to conduct a fair trial. The leader of the Senate says he has no intention of fulfilling his duty. All just another example of how Trump and the right are perfectly content to ignore the Constitution and rule of law to protect that orange fool.
