How does this change climate? ... all these areas have been subject to tornadoes before ... and they will be in the future ...
I think the mistake in the article is the assumption folks in the Southeast aren't aware they could have tornadoes ... and that's patently false ... and the article didn't actually present any data ... nothing about methodology ... and a little shifting around of the statistics over short time periods is expected with meteorological parameters ... climate is about 100-year averages, not ten years ...
Tornadoes are common in Humid Sub-tropical climates ... a little less common in Humid Continental climates ... what is changing about the climate these twisters spawn in? ... Humid is humid and that's not changing ... yes, humid is required for tornado formation ...
