Dogs can get very aggressive with their owners are not present. I used to have to kindly ask them to keep their dogs in the house when I was doing the outside inspection because I got bit one time by a dog that the owner said would only 'lick me to death.' WREG NEWS: U.S. marshal kicks dog in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A video making the rounds on social media appears to show a U.S. marshal in Memphis kicking a small dog.

The woman who shared the video with WREG called it “unacceptable” saying “power doesn’t excuse abuse.”

She also said the dog was kicked as officers were arresting a man on an outstanding warrant. She said the dog ran out of the apartment and began running around before it was kicked.

She told WREG the dog was taken to a veterinarian, who confirmed the dog suffered a broken rib.
