What happened in 1939 when FDR did it?

In case you don't know, don't know how to know, or you just don't want to know, what happened is the economy came back to life and the decades between the 1940s and the 1980s were the most prosperous and productive in our history.

In the simplest terms, Roosevelt used the money to put unemployed people back to work with living wages, which put the hoarded money back in circulation, which is as healthy for a national economy as is blood circulating in a living organism.

The problem with our economy today is the One Percent has managed to hoard over 80% of the Nation's wealth resource while the remaining 99% has only 20% to spend. It shouldn't be too hard to understand how that causes stagnation, which slows the economy down.

What needs to be done is we get smart and start electing leaders who understand the value of certain socialist regulations, such as those which prevented the looting of the Savings & Loan organizations (Reagan repealed that regulation -- remember?) and the regulations that prevented savings banks from gambling with depositors' money, and so on. We were doing pretty good until the de-regulating started.

Something else you should understand is the Congress can pass laws, such as the kind of laws (Exit Taxes) that prevent money hoarders from moving money and other resources out of the Country.

I believe you hate the word, but certain socialist regulations imposed upon a capitalist system produces some very healthy effects, as was seen between the 40s and the 80s -- when Ronald Reagan commenced the Republican revolution to serve his elitist cronies and fucked everything up!

"Trickle down" really meant siphon up, which is what's been happening.

Instead of seizing control of the banks, which is what he should have done, Obama made a deal with the bankers and Wall Street predators to put off a general collapse but leave them in charge. He did that because he lacks the sophistication needed to oversee such a take-over. But that's what needs to be done.
