They are paying - time and a half. If you say the employer should have no say in this then that destroys your argument that it is fair to them. By the way, many employees want to work overtime. The employer should have no say in this. If they don't want to pay then don't ask employees to work longer.
Nobody can honestly say labor costs are too high in this nation. That's a flat out lie. They are paying - time and a half. If you say the employer should have no say in this then that destroys your argument that it is fair to them. By the way, many employees want to work overtime.
it would vary on industry,,Nobody can honestly say labor costs are too high in this nation. That's a flat out lie.
It matters not if those jobs get filled or not. That i fully agree on. Plus one needn't give great effort in those jobsit would vary on industry,,
for sure fast food workers are paid to much,,
its supposed to be an entry level or second job industry not a living wage,,
we need low paying jobs for low skilled workers to be able to work themselves into something better,,
huh???It matters not if those jobs get filled or not. That i fully agree on. Plus one needn't give great effort in those jobs
Entry level jobs mean minimal effort. Effort and wage are directly related. Capitalism 101.huh???
so youre for ending the min wage,,Entry level jobs mean minimal effort. Effort and wage are directly related. Capitalism 101.
If I were starting out as a young worker I wouldn't apply for anything less than $15 per hour today. They say our labor force is slowly shrinking so that's only going to rise. Not a bad thing though.so youre for ending the min wage,,
good to hear it,,
and if no one would hire you for that because you have no skills??If I were starting out as a young worker I wouldn't apply for anything less than $15 per hour today. They say our labor force is slowly shrinking so that's only going to rise. Not a bad thing though.
I'm talking a high school kid. They're making $20 per hour here at big box hardware stores.and if no one would hire you for that because you have no skills??
No skills needed for $15 per hour. That's below entry level.and if no one would hire you for that because you have no skills??

Businesses close all the time. New ones pop up. If they can't afford to pay then don't hire. Fo the cooking themselves or close up shop. Not my concern.yeah and the costs of goods has skyrocketed because of it,, same goes for fast food,,
in a lot of cases businesses have closed down because they cant survive paying it
and what about the low skilled workers tht cant read or do math??
should they get paid that or rejected from working anywhere??
