Trump's "Economy."

It all sounds good but when inflation goes down, you get recession or in worst case, depression--then no one does well and everyone suffers with few options for recovery. Then the only people who survive are those who are liquid.

I disagree. When inflation is low, that is how you want it to be. As to your talk of liquid people, I'm not sure what you're getting at. I would imagine it has something to do in regards to the wealthy. But all the wealthy people need to be guillotined.

The Lardass Messiah is an embarrassment. Only a mindless cult could possibly swallow his crap.
When the stock market was climbing in January 2024, Trump knew exactly who deserved credit: He did.
Nearly a year before his return to the White House, he declared on his Truth Social platform that investors were celebrating his lead in the polls against President Joe Biden.

When the stock market fell Wednesday on news that the American economy had gone backward during the first three months of 2025, Trump knew exactly who to blame: Biden.

"This will take a while, has NOTHING TO DO WITH TARIFFS!”

Tariffs can significantly impact the economy in several ways:

You are a very intelligent person. Seldomly do I get a reply from one of them. Because it seems that the stupid just can't shut up.

Apparently you need to educate yourself. Liquid, in regard to finances, means that you are unencumbered by debt and that whatever money you possess is readily available and in your control. If that is your definition of wealthy, then you are sorely mistaken. It is the definition of fiscal responsibility. As for your take on inflation, the rest of your post demonstrates that you haven't got any fiscal knowledge. Come back when you get educated.

Yeah, I know about liquid assets. You read my thread. How about coming up with a good argument.

I wonder how Trump supporters see what he is doing with the economy. Recently on the news they showed somebody from what I think was the UAW saying that he thought the Trump tariffs were a good thing. Or at least lead to good ends. What an asshole. What is the rest of the country supposed to do as shelves go empty? Or prices skyrocket? Auto workers make a pretty good salary. They also have jobs that are pretty safe. Who is such a person to be telling the rest of the U.S. what is good or not in that regard.

Also, Trump has an ex-con economic advisor named Peter Navarro who admitted that Trump's tariffs were essentially a trade embargo. A trade embargo can't be good for the economy. And Trump is putting the cart before the horse. If you want things made here, start making them here. THEN cut those products from other countries. Like it or not, Biden did better at the economy than Trump. Here is a meme with graphs to help prove it.

Trumpynomics persists:

(Reuters) -A measure of future U.S. economic activity fell in May for the sixth straight month and triggered a recession signal, held down by consumer pessimism, weak new orders for manufactured goods, an uptick in jobless benefits claims and a drop in building permit applications.
The Conference Board's Leading Economic Index fell by 0.1% to 99.0 last month after a downwardly revised 1.4% drop in April, which was the largest decline in the index since the spring of 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The decline matched the consensus expectation among economists polled by Reuters...
"With the substantial negatively revised drop in April and the further downtick in May, the six-month growth rate of the Index has become more negative, triggering the recession signal," she said.

Sounds serious!

What is your estimate for Q2 GDP?

Post it here.

Of course the UAW wants foreign cars tariffed. But what about all the shit Ford and GM buy from other countries? They probably didn't want those things tariffed. Now that's costing them too.

Trump's tariffs are starting to kick in everyone!

U.S. wholesale inflation surged unexpectedly last month, signaling that President Donald Trump’s sweeping taxes on imports are pushing costs higher.
The Labor Department reported Thursday that its producer price index — which measures inflation before it hits consumers — was up 0.9% last month from June and 3.3% from a year earlier.

The numbers were much higher than economists had expected.

Who's Trump going to fire next?

It's sad that Democrats feel obligated to undermine Trump no matter what he does .. no balanced approach to reality, always twisting the facts to meet their bias, yawn..

Did you see Bill Maher? He gave thanks to some of the things Trump is trying to do. Like, no one is for violent crime. So we're glad he's trying to lower it. But then it's how he goes about it. Or his ICE raids. He mishandles everything.

So he's a great pitch man. But actual implementation or getting it done, not so good at that.

I hear Trump is pressuring Zelensky to end the war now. LOL

The DOW is not the economy. Bidens GDP was 40% debt based government spending. Thats why inflation shot up to 9.1%. Wages couldnt keep up, poverty increased, gas doubled, and today 70% state they were better off under Trump than BIden
YOur fake chart uses the pandemic to distort Trumps economy. Before the pandemic, wages increased the most fir all minorities, taxes were cut, poverty went down, and houses were affordable.

Bidens debt based printed money economy was a disaster. The rich got richer and the middle class was crushed under inflation

Democrats are in favor of violent crime their social polices and police policies created it. They try and cover it up by not reporting it and altering the data. They defend criminals listen to them and they oppose law and order. Thats not going to win them any elections

No Democrats are not in favor of violent crime. It's even down in DC. So why is Trump making something out of nothing? Acting like there's an emergency.

Let's see you wipe out violent crime in Texas cities first. The ones run by Democrats. Start with them. You won't because this is political. Do you even realize that?

No, if people swallow your lies, that's not good for Democrats.

democrats are covering up all crime in their cities. By not reporting crime, not prosecuting anyone under 15 in Wash DC, As a result they oppose Trumps effort to remove criminals. Remember they fought to keep illegal criminals in America after inviting thousands of them in.

The cover up is trying to hide high rates of black crime which starts the discussion leading to single mothers and crime caused by the welfare state. Guess what party created that disaster.

Crime in Texas is run democrat run cities. The worst crime in any stae all comes form democrat control of cities

blablabla.

Yes, clean up the Democratically run cities in Texas first. Then come to LA or DC.
