The current TEMPORARY subsidies were created during the Pandemic for one purpose and one purpose alone: TO CONCEAL FROM THE AMERICAN PUBLIC THE TOTAL FAILURE OF OBAMACARE. Schumer literally put his political future on the line in a failed attempt to continue these unconstitutional subsidies PAST THE MID-TERM ELECTIONS!

Trump is not taking them away. That statement is so divorced from reality that it deserves a Dope Slap. The subsidies were scheduled BY DEMOCRATS to expire next month. NO REPUBLICAN is responsible for this expiration; it is the Democrats who crafted it and must own up to it.

The solution to exploded health insurance premiums is to REPEAL ACA.

That will require some other measure to protect people with expensive pre-existing conditions, and that is what Congress must work out on a bi-partisan basis, but the Democrats recoil in horror at the thought of repealing their GREATEST accomplishment of the past decade.

And we have to some point anyway. Each level gets progressively more complicated. So, we start with basic trips for family members to get checked out and medicine dispensed. Then one day operations. Then a couple of days to a few days' operation/observance stays in hospitals. Keep increasing the levels to you get to hospice or long term stays in hospitals. We know where the costs are.
