We don’t want the military doing law enforcement. It absolutely undermines the rule of law.”

TNR reports that the “administration seems to be supercharging immigration ‘invasion’ agitprop to manufacture a sense of national trauma similar to the one that arose after the September 11 attacks. That led to another type of ‘war on terror’ hyper-militarization at home (as well as abroad). The administration seems determined to outdo that—this time against the new internal enemy.”

Joseph Nunn, counsel for the Liberty and National Security Program at the Brennan Center told Sargent, “Normalizing routine military support to law enforcement could create a kind of domestic ‘forever war,’ but one that is uniquely dangerous.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s brother, Philip Hegseth, who works for the Department of Homeland Security as a liaison officer to the Pentagon, as “including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and several of his top advisers, Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Caine, and NORTHCOM Commander Gregory Guillot. It is The Daily Beast, reporting on the Hegseth memo, that referred to it as a “secret plan for years of troops on U.S. streets.”

Is this a way for Trump to turn America into a military police state? I find it alarming and believe it should send chills through all Americans.

(In fact, I believe this is happening in other parts of the world too, but that's a different discussion.)

But contrary to what most here believe, this isn't a D vs R thing. Both sides are controlled by the same powers, but have different roles.

The Dems role has been to be "open borders" and to allow the illegals in. Trump's role is to "come to the rescue" with the "solution" which was the pre-planned agenda in the first place: more mass surveillance, a biometric entry / exit system, eventually a mandatory Digital ID, and the move toward an AI-driven technocratic police state. This video gives a quick description of what I believe the world is heading toward, but it barely scratches the surface.

Again, both "sides" are being used in different ways to bring about the same overall agenda.

I really don't think PTSB care about illegal aliens. They're globalists and what they care about is controlling ALL of us. They're just using the illegal immigration problem they created as a pretext for their agendas... similar to how they use "climate change" as a pretext for their authoritarian agendas and moving the world in the direction they want to move us toward.

Democrat states like CA NY and NJ have lost tens of thousands of population. Where did they go Texas and Florida to name two. That means in the next census democrats will lose seats in the house corresponding to population loss that will go to GOP states. Thats called apportionment. To overcome this democrats opened the border and created sanctuary cities to attract illegals to their states where they will be counted in the census. So they thought.
Now with the border closed and deportations increasing a bill in the congress to deny illegals be counted in the census destroyed that strategy.
