Trump's admin creating a "forever war" military police state

A Department of Homeland Security memo "reveals a plan to dramatically increase the use of the U.S. armed forces on American streets in domestic law enforcement roles, especially in immigration, for 'years.'ā€

This document does giver "a glimpse into the thinking of top officials as they seek to involve the Defense Department more deeply in these domestic operations, and it has unnerved experts who believe it portends a frightening escalation,ā€ The New Republic reported.

ā€œThe memo is alarming, because it speaks to the intent to use the military within the United States at a level not seen since Japanese internment,ā€ Carrie Lee, a senior fellow at the German Marshall Fund, told TNR’s Greg Sargent. ā€œThe military is the most powerful, coercive tool our country has. We don’t want the military doing law enforcement. It absolutely undermines the rule of law.ā€

TNR reports that the ā€œadministration seems to be supercharging immigration ā€˜invasion’ agitprop to manufacture a sense of national trauma similar to the one that arose after the September 11 attacks. That led to another type of ā€˜war on terror’ hyper-militarization at home (as well as abroad). The administration seems determined to outdo that—this time against the new internal enemy.ā€

Joseph Nunn, counsel for the Liberty and National Security Program at the Brennan Center told Sargent, ā€œNormalizing routine military support to law enforcement could create a kind of domestic ā€˜forever war,’ but one that is uniquely dangerous.ā€

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s brother, Philip Hegseth, who works for the Department of Homeland Security as a liaison officer to the Pentagon, as ā€œincluding Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and several of his top advisers, Joint Chiefs Chairman Dan Caine, and NORTHCOM Commander Gregory Guillot. Staff include Phil Hegseth and acting ICE Commissioner Todd Lyons.ā€

It is The Daily Beast, reporting on the Hegseth memo, that referred to it as a ā€œsecret plan for years of troops on U.S. streets.ā€

Is this a way for Trump to turn America into a military police state? I find it alarming and believe it should send chills through all Americans.
Yes sadly Newsome is the new Jeff Davis.

Many dems have made it clear they will fight a civil war to keep exploiting brown people for cheap labor

To remove violent criminal illegals brought in by democrats and to oppose democrat supported mob violence. Whats wrong with that

I swear, it's as if all the strongman/despot types throughout the last century wrote a how-to book or a ******* YouTube training system. The template sure is being followed, step by step. Even the useful idiots and cowardly legislators are doing their part.
The illegals are invaders. They have allegiance to their home nations as we see with the flags at their insurrections. We even have elected politicians who are beholden to the old country over the United States.

Yet it is totally necessary thanks to the tens of millions of illegals Democrats let into our country.

I’m sure you’d rather have our military overseas fighting in more unnecessary wars. Too bad.
There are 10mm illegals period.

Dude...I really wouldn't loose any sleep over it !

The troops would be under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) which is another world.

As for the military enforcing civilian laws that would be a real gray area. More than likely if the NG is called out bigtime a LEO would probably (IMHO) be assigned to platoons.
You want a police state?

You do have a point which is, the more unruly society becomes and violent and lawless, the more government needs to step in an restrict freedoms.

That is why only a moral people can be a free people. It is because if you can't regulate your own moral conduct to maintain a civil society, government will be more than willing to step in and do it for you, which means restricting your freedoms.

That is why the Left has been at war with morality from day 1, and it is why they have unleashed millions of illegals within society to deal with.

The ultimate goal is a police state.

The capitol riot was a deliberate MAGA/Trump inspired assault.

They should have been machine gunned.

We are a nation at war with ourselves. We will not accept that fact, and still think the government is the cure, when actually it is the cause of many of our problems aided by our apathy and dependence. It is becoming extremely hard if not impossible to recognize mental health disorders today with the extreme reactions that are standard to the littlest things.
~~~~~~
Indeed, Democrats have been at war with America for over 160 years.
They may have lost the Civil War but each year Democrat Democrats have proved themselves to still be the power hungry, Marxist, Socialist, racist, eugenists they've always been.
The illegals are invaders. They have allegiance to their home nations as we see with the flags at their insurrections. We even have elected politicians who are beholden to the old country over the United States.
~~~~~~
Indeed! Congresswoman Delia Ramirez just proved that point.
She should not be in Congress because she does not truly represent her constituents but her ideology and allegiance to another country not the country where she was born.

That's an outright lie by you, Doc.

She is trying to prevent Trump from overthrowing the Republic and subverting justice.

so..........The Daily Beast is quoting the New Republic who quotes someone at the German Marshall Fund making a claim about a memo.

No memo, mind you.

Carrie Lee, senior fellow at the German Marshall Fund, told The New Republic the contents of the memo are ā€œdisturbingā€

Another anonymous leaked memo. Democrats still expect their garbage to be believed.
