Trump has stated repeatedly in his campaign speeches as well as quite a few times in the debate tonight, that when Hillary was in the Senate, she should have changed the law.

Now................that would be all well and good if Hillary was the Senate (or at least a majority) all by herself. Only trouble is, she was just 1 Senator out of 100.

How could she have changed the law all by herself?

True she was one person but she had the ear of the President ( Obama ), The Speaker of the House ( Pelosi ) and Senate Majority Leader ( Reid ) and none of them did anything from 2009 to 2011 to close those loopholes...

Considering that Hillary supported Obama on most stances, and considering the GOP opposition to ANYTHING that Obama wanted or felt positive about, do you REALLY think that Hillary could have gotten the GOP to help her out with legislation?

I hear this ridiculous argument every time I ask a supposed Republican why they failed to get an update of their campaign promises fulfilled. My response...... "You didn't think you would win so you didn't bother to even file the bill or fight for it?"

If you truly believe in something you fight tooth and nail for it, win or lose. If you won't fight for it, you don't really believe in it.
