Trump won't take a position on abortion and the 6-week thing

If they adjust to a 15 week limit in most States, and only push for the 6 week or stricter limits in the States where it works they can adjust to the situation far easier than the abortion on demand to the last second types can.
Do you believe you enjoy dominion over women, Marty?

Coming from someone that probably supports men participating in women's sports, this is fucking comical.

Plenty of women support restrictions on abortion, and if you can't figure your shit out in 15-16 weeks, the life of the fetus then becomes something the government has interest in.

We live in a society of self gratification and no regard for our fellow man.

Marty,

It's not made any less batshit insane when you try to "rationalize" it.

Trump is too smart to get into the abortion debate. Abortion is a State issue, not a federal issue, since the Constitution did not give that authority to the Federal government..
Then that is what he should say.
They have to take a position on it. Mine would be "I think 15 weeks works, but I leave it to the States to sort out. No federal legislation.
With the Christian rightwing anti-abortion movement in the “moral” vanguard, the logic of the Republican “Moral Majority” is — if they win control of both Houses and the White House — to pass a national law banning abortion. The Constitution says nothing specific about limiting Congress one way or another in voting up or down national law on abortion. Today’s Supreme Court would allow a national anti-abortion law in a minute. This is just another danger posed by MAGA.

“Returning to the past” … is no solution to the problems of the present!

*The Roe vs. Wade decision recognized a woman’s total ”right to privacy” and to control her own body in the first trimester, but also recognized an amorphous “state right” to regulate and limit abortions especially after the second trimester. It was a working compromise which the reactionary right refused to accept. If MAGA ever wins a big victory in Congress, it will establish a national law effectively outlawing abortion.

How is it "batshit insane"?

It's a rational compromise that most Americans agree with. 15-16 week limit on abortion on demand, with carve outs for the life of the mother or non-viable fetuses.

The Rape/incest exception is covered by the 15-16 week allowance.

There wouldn't be enough Republicans to pass it in the House, and definitely not enough to cross the filibuster line in the Senate.

Marty,

You must stop with the assertions.
