Do private insurance companies have enrollment periods??It's almost like he is "punishing" people for not already having insurance.....like it's some sort of "mandate" that they have it....Trump administration won't reopen Obamacare enrollment for uninsured
The Trump administration has decided not to reopen enrollment in the Affordable Care Act's federal exchanges amid the rising coronavirus pandemic, a senior administration official said Tuesday evening.www.cnn.com
People are losing their health insurance in droves due to layoffs & closed businesses.
Being the petty asshole he is, Trump will not open the exchanges so people can buy policies on the exchanges.
Some States that run their own exchanges =have opened up them so people can buy policies.
Apparently you don't understand Obamacare. If you suffer a qualifying life event like losing your employer coverage outside the open enrollment window, you have 60 days to enroll. What he is not doing is letting people who just refused to sign up sign up now that they are scared they may get sick.
Totally Obama's fault. He is the one who created enrollment periods.
some Employers do with their own special qualifying even like getting hired or becoming eligible, but if you do not qualify you can go to an insurance broker any old time and get a policy.
