There is nothing illegal in this. But his standing as a witness needs to be discounted by the court.
His testimony is tainted because of the money he has stashed away courtesy of trump.

Okay but I would think that having a forensic accountant look at everything should have been what the prosecution did in a case like this, but at least they will get to hear from one. It is something the FBI hires lots of after the whole Enron thing.

Its a tricky one isnt it. But there is an umbalance in this case between the amounts spent. I cant see this opinon having as much weight as the prosecution. Particularly given the lemgth of time taken to produce it. Bad figures take longer to add up. That is always the case.

It is not unusual for expert witness testimony to cost this much. This guy charged $1,300 an hour.

Yup, they are rare but Trump managed to get a summary judgment due to overwhelming evidence. Trump is just sitting in court now to find out how badly he's gonna get hosed.
