Trump — We’re going to look into Ashli Babbitt case.

So next time a lefty violent protest outnumbers the cops facing them, said cops can just open fire?
Are the giving a warning?

Can the officer retreat without risk to life?

Please stop trying to rewrite history...
Trump scrambled this poor woman's head and she rushed a cop who begged her to stop coming through that door...

Trump in my view got that woman killed... He is the fucking prick in this story and he got away free...

When a member of the violent mob present a clear and present danger of loss of life or serious bodily injury either to the officer or to civilians the law enforcement officer is there to protect.

Yep, go ahead.

Please stop trying to justify a bad shoot because of your terrible political views.

An unarmed woman half in and out of a broken window is not a clear and present danger.

put that in front of a jury and see if you convict the cop who took the shot or not.

Watch the video... You clearly haven't... She was warned...

The officer was on his own, she had a mob coming

She wasn't "leading" anything.

Meanwhile far more heavily armed cops were intermingled with the protesters, and none of them felt the need to open fire.

I wouldn't have a problem putting it before a jury.

Please do.

We can have video after video of the violence the mob was committing. We can have the radio calls that Lt. Byrd was listening to. We can show the video of the violent mob breaking through the last law enforcement barrier prior to being able to access the House Chamber.

Part of the context of the trial will be establishing the operational environment present at the time that Lt. Byrd was the sole officer in distance to react at that instant in time. How with a single controlled shot he stopped the mob for critical seconds while reinforcements arrived.

There isn't an honest jury in the country that will convict.

But I welcome the trial, although I can bet you Trump and his high level supporters DON'T what that relived day-after-day on national television and in the media.

I say bring it.

Hundreds broke into the Capitol on that day…Why do you suppose that only one cop thought shooting was the right thing to do?

The mob isn't the woman climbing through the window.

"Pour encouragement of les autres or the famous "whiff of grapeshot" worked when the military wanted to stop unrest in the 1800's, not when a modern police officer wants to use deadly force.

The violent mob establishes the context of the operational environment that the law enforcement officer manning the last barricade prior to that mob having access to the House Chamber and is part of the clear and present danger evaluation of the mobs actions if they gained access.

That has ZERO to do with an individual officer's ability to use deadly force against a specific target.

Please show me the deadly force rules for federal officers that allow them to shoot a person that isn't an actual threat.

She and the mob were a threat.

You will disagree, but that doesn't change reality. She and the mob presented a clear and present danger to the officer, members of Congress, their staff and other civilians in the chamber.

The officer literally stood there and watch members of the mob use improvised melee weapons to break through the barrier.

The more made up concepts you have to add, the more your argument is bullshit.

She was not a clear and present danger, and to shoot someone they have to be a lethal danger at that.

Then why not shoot the guys trying to break through the door?

I could be wrong, but didn’t you post the video published by the Jan 6th committee, NOT the one taken outside the doors by the independent journalist that shows Babbit interacting peacefully with the officers and calming the crowd.
I've seen the video by JaydenX.
The one where the guys on the mob side were screaming, "Gun, He's got a Gun" a full 8 seconds before babbitt was shot.

She was NOT helping the cops and trying to calm the crowd.
Where is this video.
Post it to prove your claim.
From the inside and totally out of context showing nothing about what she did before. The independent journalist showed her helping the cops and trying to calm the crowd, actually pulling a violent protestor out of that window so he couldn't access the lobby. Once an impartial jury sees that video in its entirety and compares it to the edited version released by the Jan 6th commission, Byrd is toast. The government will pay out tens of millions to her family and Byrd will be brought up on murder charges in a criminal trial.
Have you posted this video?
If so, post it again.
If not, your just another lying shill for the trump cult.

He did.
He shot the protester breaking out the windows.
Babbitt was just the first one to get into that window. FAFO.

What you cultists won't talk yourself into believing.

SMFH.

.

She was being pushed from behind by capital cops.

.
Show the video to prove it.

Here is the video by JaydenX for the 50th+ time.
at the 0;39 second mark babbitt goes into the window, with ZERO cops around, they had left.

You disagree with his delusion
.

That's what it's all about -- you refuse to buy into their unicorns and fairy dust delusions, and since they would instantly simplode if ever they are proven wrong, you MUST be lying or stupid or delusional in order for them to survive.

This is what happens when a culture decides to NEVER grow up.

You opinion is noted.

But I agree, let's get the trial going. Let's get the J6 violence all over the news media lest we forget.

Then why not shoot the guys trying to break through the door?

(A) they didn't advance through the barrier as Babbitt did.

(B) With the single controlled shot by Lt. Byrd they back off for the critical seconds for reinforcements to arrive.
