Trump: "We have the cleanest air and the cleanest water...." June 5, 2020

That is just it. They didn't double as compared to the rest of the world. Apparently it is not a "either/or" kind of gig. I have pointed out your 2 dimensional, limited viewpoint before. I would suggest you think outside the box or cube, but you can't even get off the line.

It's politics. They claim if you do that, then prices will double, or triple, or will make it no longer available at all.

If we said that about going to the moon, we never would have gotten there.
ROFL! So you believe we can repeal the laws of economics if we just try hard enough?

God, are you ever a dumbfuck.

Don't forget about Michigan and Wisconsin , North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. They also support the California standards.
According to whom?
According to the papers they filed in federal court.
What "papers?" Did their legislatures pass regulations as severe as California's?
They filed in federal court their support that the California regulation waiver not be overturned, and subsequently by it, drive the federal regulatory standards to the California standards.

Economics said that your desktop computer would cost $100 Billion.

Your posts have no bearing on the topic. The idiot OP is claiming we now have dirtier air and water.

You have a problem with either reading or the truth, the OP says that deregulation will lead to dirtier air and water than we have now. NOT that we've currently suffered the consequences.

So did Trump roll back the water regs to 1850?

You are the one with reading issues. The idiot OP claims current polution was caused by the decision.

Where is the air and water dirtier?

Wherever the Florida sugar farmers, Duke Energy, Monsanto and Koch Industries are now being allowed to dump their waste, you stupid fucking idiot.

Now run along, fuckwit.

What "waiver?" States are free to impose stricter standards whenever they like. And a few government lawyers does not equate to an entire state. The automakers are negotiating to get California to lower their standards, so your claim that they support the current California standards is obvious horseshit.

Hmmm, no it didn't, moron. According to your theory, cars should cost $5.00. Why do they cost $30,000?

More pollution found at Duke Energy coal ash sites. ... “Duke Energy needs to stop fighting North Carolina's people and North Carolina's government and start moving its toxic coal ash from these unlined, polluting pits to dry, lined storage out of our groundwater and away from our drinking water supplies.

US Constitution Article I (powers of congress), along with the 10th amendment

Congress given the power to regulate commerce between the several states.

Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

That means that states have no inherent power to regulate interstate commerce, which is why California needed a "waiver".

From your source, which you conveniently didn't link to. I wonder why?

In 2015, Duke Energy’s operating companies in North Carolina pleaded guilty 18 times to nine coal ash crimes committed across the state, paid fines of over $100 million, and remain on nationwide criminal probation.

You're reading from the "what if microsoft built cars" Not from economics. Your 'cite' showed the price of your PC was in opposition to the economic estimated cost of $100 billion, and that if widely adopted cars would cost $5.

It in no way disputes the economic estimates of the cost of your current PC, with gigabytes of memory, terabytes of storage, and built from billions of transistors.

Duke continues to pollute, the one from 2015 was just one such instance.

The increase in emissions, according to Duke, is the result of more frequent “cycling” – scaling down energy production from its enormous natural gas plants during the day to accommodate a surge in solar energy to the power grid, then powering those plants back up at night.

You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Your argument was that Blaine was wrong about Duke energy, he made no claim about Trump when you asked about currently dirtier air or water.

Do you want to respond with "SO?"
