It was stupid to pander to that terrorist Islamist Erdogan. The GOP should have unanimously voted to recognize the Armenian genocide and told Turkey and their homicidal maniac leader to **** off. Hopefully we all learn from this. I get that Trump wanted to negotiate with Turkey and Obama would not do it either but America needs to be better than that. Turkey is a terrorist country run by an asshole dictator.
