Unintended consequences. Now the price of food is going to go up. What's the positives of having fewer immigrants wanting to come work in the USA? And fewer countries wanting to do business with us? That's what's happening.

Despite policy changes, both administrations enforced border security measures, including increased deportations and restrictions on asylum claims.
I'll give you this one. Less illegal border crossings and fewer asylum seekers. I like that. Can't argue. I hope the next Democratic president doesn't reverse this. Politicians can change their positions on things. Like Trump is okay with gay marriage and Bruce Jenner using any bathroom he wants at Mara Lago.

Democrats definitely need to stay tough on the border and also go after illegal employers. Something Republicans aren't doing. In fact Trump is allowing illegals who work at Hotels (He owns hotels), restaurants and farms to continue the status quo. That's a sign that his/your dreams are unrealistic.
And so this is mostly all for show. He will stop watching the border and having ICE raids and maybe start doing them again right before the election just to win you over.

The positive is they can still come here legally and earn citizenship just like everyone else has done for a while now. I realize it's a positive for you to pack districts with illegals so you can get more seats in Congress and increase Democrat control. To me that's a huge negative.
