Just another impotent threat. He can't legally prohibit the people from protesting an event he's throwing just so he doesn't have to see how some actually feel about him and his actions.

He doesn't care if they protest by yelling (which would be drowned out by the bands anyway). Holding signs doesn't matter. Nothing they do matters, unless they engage in illegal activity, in which case they would be removed immediately and taken to jail.

Earlier today, I watched most of the parade, saw thousands of US Army personnel, and did not see a single protestor.
