Trump warns against protestors at his military parade

I think a Military Parade should be held annually regardless of who is in the White House and the troops should be the focus; not the Commander In Chief. I remember a parade they had back in 1991 honoring the Military and it was a great event for troops to interact and be honored by civilians.

fascist
From your interpretations it is fascist versus fascist. We are a high tax nation. You keep not understanding that.

So you're fine with it? That's your reasoning?

Fine with US citizens protesting. Not fine with rioters throwing bombs, rocks, burning, looting, raping, destroying cities. There's a big difference but in the two. And then we hear the left encouraging more violence. Yeah, the left is checking those boxes.

Do any Trumpsters have a problem with this?

A President of the United States, sworn to protect and defend the Constitution, warning against any protestors, using "very big force" as his threat?

Trump warns that military parade protesters will face 'very heavy force'

"If there’s any protester that wants to come out, they will be met with very big force," Trump said. "I haven’t even heard about a protest, but you know, this is people that hate our country, but they will be met with very heavy force."
Just like Adolf Hitler, Trump hates (liberal) protesters. Why I should be surprised? :)

Adolf Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945, was known for his authoritarian regime and intolerance of dissent. Protesters, political opposition, and any form of resistance to his ideology were met with severe repression. The Nazi Party sought to create a totalitarian state where dissent was not tolerated, leading to the persecution of various groups, including political opponents, socialists, communists, and anyone who opposed the regime.

Hitler viewed protests and opposition as threats to his authority and the stability of the Nazi state. He employed propaganda to discredit dissenters and used violent means, including the Gestapo and concentration camps, to silence protesters.

The infamous Night of the Long Knives in 1934 exemplified his willingness to eliminate rivals within and outside the party.

In summary, Hitler's regime was characterized by a profound hatred for any form of protest or opposition, which he perceived as a direct challenge to his power and the goals of the Nazi state. This repression was part of a broader strategy to maintain control and enforce Nazi ideology across Germany and occupied territories.

I'm fine with protests against the parade as long as they're not destroying private property, throwing bombs, starting fires etc.
The actual question: Are you fine with a President of the United States publicly threatening Americans who may want to exercise their First Amendment right to protest?

Trump is following the authoritarian playbook that the world has seen play out many times in its history. What I don't know is whether an autocrat has ever announced something like this to the entire country, not to mention a country that clearly includes Freedom of Speech in its foundational documents.

Is this guy ever going to learn or admit the difference between protesting and rioting? Mostly peaceful, my ass!
So are you fine with a President of the United States publicly threatening Americans who may want to exercise their First Amendment right to protest?

The law should not be respected when a criminal is the president. So until you demand his removal and the restoration of indictments so he can stand trial for his crimes all of you right wing morons can take your whining and shove it.
