Yep, its socialism. I say no subsidies for farmers. If their farms go under because of market volatility, extreme weather, etc, and we lose domestic production, well just import everything.

Most of our fruits and vegetables already come from Mexico, our farms mostly grow corn and soy for ethanol and animal feed.

Also, many farmers actually dont want subsidies.




Normally id be for farmers subsidies in order to help our agriculture from going under, but since every time I do, someone is calling me a hypocrite because I also wont be on board for the government providing subsidies to people to buy things (not you specifically), im just going to reverse course and say, let our farmers stand on their own, if we lose most of our farms because of it, so be it.

It is better to subsidize farmers than to subsidize weapons companies. This did not have to happen.
