Trump threatens to invoke the Insurrection Act in Minnesota after protests

3,000 agents can't handle it?

When rioters start running them over, throwing things at them, screaming in their faces, doxxing them, surrounding their cars and preventing them from moving and laying in the streets what should they do?

Eh how about arresting them or shooting them?

When rioters start running them over, throwing things at them,
And that one's dead.

screaming in their faces,
First Amendment

doxxing them,
Legal

surrounding their cars and preventing them from moving
Which isn't happening, but if it does arrest them. They literally have 5x the number of total police in the city there now.

and laying in the streets what should they do?
Have the police arrest them.

There's no way he's so stupid that he's surprised by any of this. So it must be what he/they have wanted from the start.

Go ahead. Let's see how it goes. It's always been inevitable.

Wow, good to see you finally supporting law and order.

President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened to send the military into Minneapolis over widespread demonstrations after federal agents shot and wounded a man, and in the aftermath of the fatal shooting of a protester by an ICE agent last week.

“If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State,” the president wrote on Truth Social.

Good, about time.

Send in the TX NG.

Right. Where are calls from Congress demanding Frey and Walz tell the protesters to "Go Home" like they demanded of TRUMP on Jan 6?

The democrats were very much in favor of ICE when Obama and Biden were in office.
ICE was doing the exact same thing as they are doing now. Only difference? They didn't have
TDS.
Mn. is highly publicized because they are trying to distract away from all the fraud and abuse
corruption with the taxpayers money.

When is legislation going to be passed making it illegal to accept money or any other form of payment for attending and participating in a protest? And also the opposite, it should be illegal to pay or coerce someone into participating in a protest. providing transportation, signs, or any other protest paraphernalia, including objects used to cause destruction of property?

So if he declares martial law and the protests continue, then what? They continued in LA when he did it. Asking for a friend.

This guy clearly doesn't understand the first amendment.

There is absolutely no justification for use of the Insurrection act.

As usual you're wrong.

The Obama administration enforcement priorities focused limited immigration enforcement resources on risks to public safety and recent entrants, as opposed to people posing no danger to the public and/or with longstanding ties. And through the guidance governing prosecutorial discretion, the Obama administration provided for DHS officials to give special consideration to lawful permanent residents(LPRs), juveniles, and immediate family members of U.S. citizens, helping prevent theneedless separation of U.S. families and communities.

Contrast with the Trump Administration:

The Trump administration abandoned the Obama framework, asserting that all undocumented migrants were deemed priorities for apprehension and removal. On January 25, 2017, the Trump administration issued an Executive Order entitled “Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior of the United States,” which, along with subsequent DHS guidance, effectively “prioritized” all undocumented immigrants for removal at any time. The Trump priorities set out seven broad categories, including new categories for those who engaged in visa fraud or identification misrepresentation. However, in contrast to the Obama administration’s tiered prioritization categories, the Trump administration asserted that each of the categories were of equal weight –serious offenses shared the same priority as minor ones. Effectively, the Trump guidance expanded the understanding of “enforcement priority” “so broadly as to render the term meaningless.”In effect, the Trump administration indicated that anyone who was deportable or inadmissible was a priority for removal.

If Trump were following Obama's procedures, there would not be the chaos we see today.
