According to the actual local newspapers, the Pioneer Press and the Star Tribune (BTW the Tribune is considered a Conservative based newspaper), one Trump supporter, not several as this article suggests had his phone stolen but was not beaten and another Trump supporter was punched in the back a couple of times. Not the gut and the person doing the punching was quickly pulled away by other protesters. The photo of the bloody face man is question is actually of Cole Bartiromo in California from May of this year. If you do a further search you find another photo of him standing next to a law enforcement personal wearing an Orange County Sheriff should patch. This is not from the St. Paul rally from the other night. Not much reporting in this article just speculation and opinion.
