I have only seen the very brief clip but we see Trump pivot. His accusations that California was cheating rightly led to Ms Welker asking him for evidence. His reply was "You only have to look" to which she replied "That is not evidence".

She tried to move on but he then engaged in making ad hominem remarks on her and the company for which she worked. She was crooked, she was stupid, so was Meet the Press, ABC, and CBS. "Your elections were crooked". The usual Trump mantra.

When faced with someone asking him for evidence to support his accusations he flies into a rage because he cannot answer.

What he did live on TV is a metaphorical representation of what trumples do every day on the board. I imagine they do it while engaged in conversations with people they know, people in their lives as well.
