Trump starts his book bans. MAGA

The left thinks stopping children from reading filth is book banning
They think it's banning simply for children's libraries to not stock it. Their parents can still get the book and read it or give it to them if they want. There is no ban.

Using their standard, "Field and Stream" magazine is banned because children's libraries don't stock it and guns are banned because shopping malls put up "gun free zone" signs, etc.

Book banning seems so much nefarious

.

You have repeatedly asked a question I have already answered ...
That's just another failure of yours ... That you can add to the list.

You are attempting to argue with me about something I never said ...
Never claimed to have any authority over ...
And wouldn't ******* know because I didn't write the list.

Those things are never going to change ... No matter how many times you ask.
There's the ******* map ... Continue to wander around in the darkness if you feel like it ...
But you're still not getting anywhere.

Expecting to hear from your stupid ass again shortly ...
With more pathetically lame shit ...

.
I've never seen anyone use so many words to convey "I don't know".

We have to remember that the simplistic leftwing mind runs on narrative, not fact. Facts are messy, get in the way, and dilute a narrative's message, so they choose narrative. It's simple and easy to yell, "Book banning!" instead of acknowledging the reality that adults have a duty and responsibility to filter what young children have access to read at school.

There is no ban by Trump on any book.

Repeating your idiotic false claim doesn’t support it, taint, you idiot.

As a parent I don't want a children's library having books like it.

I don't know why any parent would

This is still being argued and cried about? It's already been established that the book is only banned in schools, not public. Only dishonest people are pushing a book ban narrative. Even Tommy couldn't bring himself to be open about whether or not he would start a thread on every single book that isn't allowed in school. That proves that this thread doesn't have any basis in logic, honesty, or even any attempt to be a legitimate discussion. It's just a cult of frothing blues who will latch angrily onto anything Trump does simply because Trump, integrity be damned.

Obviously the need for some for self validation is so large that they have to lie repeatedly and defend it. So go ahead and keep crying about something while being dishonest about it in the process. I prefer to have a debate with intelligent people and I'm not finding it in this thread. Maybe I'll have better luck in another.

Actually from the article in question:

Moore’s Freckleface Strawberry, a story about a girl who dislikes her freckles but learns to live with them, is among the books caught up in the blanket review, according to a list obtained by the Guardian. However, it is not known whether the title was selected for further review or for withdrawal.

This might be some more of that "malicious compliance" we have seen, trying to generate headlines by interpreting Trump's orders as vindictively as possible.

The book is only banned in schools, not the public. Anyone can still get it and read it. So what is the issue here besides you misrepresenting the situation?
DoD schools only, and at this point it's not banned but being reviewed.

Book bans...I would be curious to know of any book banned in the United States

We're 175 posts in so far and not a single trumpanzee has offered any explanation for why this book has been removed from DOD school libraries, nobody, not a single one of you has any idea what is actually in the book that justifies this decision.

Yet here you all are, crying and whining about being asked!

Banning a book from DOD schools without any explanation for the general public is enough of a reason to report it in the news, the government are public servants not dictators...

People being curious and wanting to know why the government do things used to be normal and uncontroversial in this country, but today we have retards like you making accusations against people just for seeking explanations.

Why do you think the reasons for this DOD school book ban should be kept secret?

There are a lot things you choose not to recognize ...
And that's why you continue to fail miserably.

However ... I have already stated that I will continue to encourage you to keep on here ... In this stupid thread.
Just in case I can keep you from travelling anywhere else at USMB ... And polluting anything other conversation ...
That some intelligent folks might be trying to have.

It's not narcissism though ... You have your account locked down ... Like any coward would.
So ... I cannot really tell if it is working ... But I'll wing it ... I am far from perfect.

Batter Up ... :auiqs.jpg:
