It is fine with me. The quota was set over 25 years ago as part of GATT. But, now we have the smallest cattle herds domestically in about 74 years, due to drought and labor shortage, along with rising costs. If not profitable for US Big Farma to produce (even though subsidized by US Government) for whatever reason, maybe Argentinian beef is necessary to fill the gap of demand. I do not plan to cut back on beef.
