Trump says Hamas surrender will end Gaza’s woes

Allowing folks to live unmolested is a strange definition to you?

Odd.
Gaza was left alone and unmolested in 2005. Tens of thousands of rockets, suicide attacks, and October 7 atrocities in the 20 years since is a strange version of peace.

Offers of peace and withdrawal from what is foolishly known as the "Occupied Territories" led to the intifadas with their bombings, suicide attacks, stabbings, and car rammings. Strange version of peace.

Seems every time the Palestinians are left in "peace" they instead choose crimes against humanity.

They've had a hundred years to choose some sort of peace.

Bullshit.

Israel's block-aid of Gaza starting in the 1990s is what led directly to Hamas' electoral victory you sociopath.

Israel required a permit for entry of Palestinian citizens into Israel. How very strange. No other countries would THINK of doing that, now would they? /sarcasm. I wonder what happened in the 1990s that might have led to Israel and Palestine being considered separate countries?

Again, you have a strange understanding of the word "peace".

You are one oily little *****.

First you state that Israel dindu nothing, then you blame Gazans for the economic block-aid that they put on them.

The blockade prevented direct deliveries by sea to Gaza and the inspection of all deliveries to prevent the importation of weapons and some dual use materials so the impact on the society was just more red tape to deal with, but Israel played no part in whatever the Palestinians were doing inside of Gaza after the 2005 withdrawal and handover of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority until now.

Nope. You misread. I blamed the Gazans right from the start for all the consequences following the violence they committed during the first and second intifadas, the indiscriminate rockets, the tunnel cross-border attacks, and the atrocities of October 7.

Never did I say Israel dindu nothing. Israel rightly and minimally imposed a blockade on their belligerent attackers.

My entire point is that it is disingenuous as all f**k to say that all the poowr liwil Palestinians want is to be left alone in "peace" when every time they are actually left in peace or movement is made to give them territory under their control, they use it to commit crimes against humanity on Israelis.

Strange that you consider crimes against humanity to be "peace".

They would never have cause such violence had they not been occupied and oppressed, right?

That's bullshit.

We all know how the Israeli government calculated the amount of calories to let in, down to the last little child.

. . . all you are doing is posting genocide propaganda.

We both know what I posted is the literal truth, and what is going on now is not genocide but the only rational approach to ending the Palestinians' relentless attacks on Israel.

Of course it is. They are the one destroying the homes and lives of Palestinians.

If it weren't, Israel would leave all occupied territories and allow the Palestinians to live in peace.

. . . but we all know the agenda of the blood thirsty Zionists, right?
A Greater Israel because the alternative is a Greater Palestine.

You have it ass-backward. The consequences are a result of violence, not the cause of it.
Don't bullshit me, I know who starts all the wars in that part of the world.

The Arabs keep believing warfare and violence is the way for their children's future.

How foolish.

They were never oppressed, and the land was occupied because the so called Palestinians refused to live in peace with Israel. We will have to find another word than occupied because occupy sounds temporary and as a result of this war Israeli control over Gaza will be permanent.

"Occupation" has always been an incorrect term, shrug.

But Israel will have to find a way to deal with a permanent presence that falls within a legally accepted framework if she decides not to apply sovereignty and citizenship.

Permanent Israeli control over Gaza will remain contentious, but there is no other way.

I'm probably not disagreeing. But wondering what you think that might look like? Sovereignty? Citizenship? Some sort of self-government? An Israeli Emirate? How does this circle get squared? Or does it?
