Brilliant. Should Trump hold a third term? I am torn. I think he could win a third time, especially against any of the people democrats might throw into the race--- Kammy says it'll be her again! But SHOULD he run even if the laws are changed to permit it? I'm guessing probably not.

I think by the end of this term with Trump in his low 80s, he both needs and deserves some time off to rest and go enjoy life--- unless saving America now IS his life.

But, POINT TAKEN: If the democrats thought they could beat him, they would be ENCOURAGING him to run a third time!

I think either Vance or Rubio will beat whichever loser the Democrats choose like a red-headed step child.

I believe 2028 will be a landslide win while cheating has long been in the Democrats’ playbook, though Trump has successfully used their own mail-in voting tactics against them.

I'm leaning Rubio. Not only has the guy run for president before, but he really has taken on a really big job and done great, sadly, a much bigger job than the fraud thing Vance is working on, not fair to Vance because the job of VP is kind of a backseat shadow kind of job, and I like Vance, but if they run, Vance will probably get the nod only because he is VP, and he should do just fine, but IMO, Rubio is a lot tougher cookie and a lot crustier for the job.

If I were China or Russia (or Iran), I would much rather have smiley/friendly Vance on the other side looking at me than steely eyed/grim as death/square jawed/unblinking/unshakable Rubio.

Perhaps. Good question. That is the test then to see how Vance distinguishes himself. Is he a man of the necessary testicular iron, or just a nice, happy, good ol' boy who just wants to get along and will continue the policy of endless negotiations while other countries move in on us.

My feeling is that Marco is making clear that of the two, he is the far more Trumpian and we need Trumpian. I think odds are good that inside of five years, we will have major conflicts with China over their efforts to take the South China Sea, Taiwan, and much more.

He might not even win a primary he is so unpopular. I think it is a great idea for him to run again. I am all for it.

His numbers are in trouble as he fractured his own base with his support of Israel. He might be getting blackmailed due to the Epstein files or it’s just his ideology to blindly support Israel.

We do have to give credit to a lot of Trump voters. In a much higher percentage they are able to call out fanaticism and cancel culture in their party unlike the left. Much of the left still refuses to call out their own base who lie about people being racist for criticizing BLM for example or criticizing the idea of white privilege.
