Now trump is rolling back those bush boy energy rules for light bulbs.

He can do that but the efficient ones have been out since the bush boy years. Most people now use them. Very few are going to go back to the more expensive incandescent ones.

Good luck finding those incandescent ones easily. I don't see them at the stores much anymore.

Now I like LED lights for my living room, kitchen and bathroom, for the higher lumens at less cost, but for my bedroom I prefer incandescent as the light is "softer" and is easier to read by.

I never understood all this "save money" stuff with the new bulbs. They never seemed to last any longer than the old ones. When I put them in my house my power bill never went down. At least not enough for us to notice. And I replaced bulbs at the same rate. And I never liked the light.

Some like them some don't. I set one in the hall at 10% so you can see and set it to an incandescent hue so it isn't harsh on the eyes and makes a great night light. It is just nice to be able to control the output so I don't waste as much electricity when I use low level lights or don't turn all my lights on in the kitchen.

A 100 watt bulb converts 100% electricity to heat. A Tesla Model 3 charges up to a quarter of a megawatt (250,000 watts). Take 100, divide by 250,000 and you get 2,500 bulbs. I think my 4th grade teacher call us that... Nothing smart about requiring a separate AC/DC power supply and microprocessor to turn on each bulb... I've actually designed smart bulbs for a client for industrial use.. Weird stuff does happen.. One bad power supply in a single bulb can make the entire circuit of lights look like the light effects at a rock concert....
