Trump Reportedly Arguing With Ballroom Architect, Who Warns It Will Dwarf the White House

There is no plan.

your beloved fuhrer does not have the big Trump campaign rallies because he can barely complete a sentence anymore.

The Kennedy Center will be restored to its former self once the vulgar little clown is gone.
So will go full commie from pre commie before Trump. Never trust your Progressive Socialist Communist elected Democrats who go to party at elitist expensive capitalist events. And they do. You are being warned, and you do not comprehend. All of the communists with power are living great capitalist lives. At least in other nations they put their lives on the line.

So, I'm not a real-estate developer, but isn't it customary to have a plan in hand before you tear down the existing structure?

Don't you guys think that would make sense?

The fact that there isn't one yet makes the demolition look suspiciously rushed.

What could have been the reason for the haste?

Trump is terminal and wants to see it before he dies?

There are many things in Washington DC that dwarf the White House. Sounds like bogus report to me. It's not the Architect's job to worry about
Comparative aesthetics....it's his job to make sure the structure is sound.

Architect James McCrery II, who was brought on board by Trump to serve as the lead architect with a splashy announcement and renderings of the gilded and cavernous ballroom in July “counseled restraint over concerns” that it could "dwarf" the 55,000-square-foot executive mansion, The Washington Post reported.
Well... Who cares if it dwarfs the Mansion?
It was designed to have an ample capacity so that future presidents wouldn't have to rent porta-potties for state affairs. It's ridiculous that the most powerful country on the planet doesn't have an elegant reception room for such functions.

You dumb ****. You think state dinners only involve one leader?
No, you stupid ****.

That's what I corrected.

When has Trump hosted a state dinner in a tent?
Jesus, you don't care one whit about the goddam ballroom.
I care more about the destruction of the east wing of the white house.
Which, once again, Trump lied about.
You just hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump, hate Trump
What's not to hate?
Trump is a lying, treasonous, selfish, conman and criminal and has been his entire life.
You think Trump cares about you?........LOL.
like an unbalanced crackpot weirdo and so you hate anything and everything he does.

You're like a brain dead, cult sycophant, who if Trump killed your wife and raped your daughter, you would twist yourself into a pretzel, trying to figure out an excuse, why they must have deserved it.
He could cure cancer and you're complain he's added to global population.
LOL.

I'm surprised Trump hasn't, he knows so much.............

When has Trump ever had to use a tent to host state dinners?

White House begins demolishing part of East Wing for Trump ballroom
Parts of the White House's East Wing have been demolished, as construction begins on US President Donald Trump's new ballroom.

Trump announced the construction in a social media post, saying "ground has been broken" on the "much-needed" ballroom space.

"For more than 150 years, every President has dreamt about having a Ballroom at the White House to accommodate people for grand parties, State Visits, etc," he wrote.

Name the president's, who wanted a ballroom.

Biden had to use a tent 4 times in 4 years.

That's exactly the architect's job.

One of many, they have to worry about.

Bullshit.... If he is worried about his reputation
There are plenty of architects who will step in and finish the job. The Architect's main function is the soundness of the structure. After that if he chooses to worry about the aesthetics he needs to take up a new career as a designer.

Total bullshit ...
I doubt if it was even on your radar before it became a political football.

And laws.

No, it isn't.

You know as much as Trump does about construction.

Architects consult with engineers for structural soundness.
They are NOT interchangeable.

That exactly their job.

On second thought, you know LESS than Trump, about construction.

An architect is an engineer you moron.
Stop pulling shit straight out of your ass just to make your argument work.

Architectural engineering is the proper name for the field.

You are the one that knows shit about it.

I can tell simply by wording of your response.

You're talking to the wrong person if you're trying to pull fast one.... Not going to work with me.

NO, they aren't you ******* idiot.

Holy ****.
Two different fields you dumb ****.

Architectural engineers apply science and engineering principles to design, build, and maintain a building's essential systems, ensuring they are structurally sound, functional, and safe. They collaborate with architects, combining structural, mechanical, electrical, lighting, and fire protection systems into a cohesive, integrated whole, often specializing in one area like HVAC or electrical systems. Their work focuses on the engineering and technical aspects, unlike architects who focus more on aesthetics and design.

You got caught with your pants down.
There is no such thing as a freestanding "Architect." anyone who hires somebody like that is retarded.

The lead architect may choose to direct the cosmetics and the aesthetics.... But if he is nothing more than a designer he has no business using the term or the title of Architect.

Frank Lloyd wright comes to mind...
His buildings were identifiable stylistically...
However don't fool yourself for one minute into thinking that he didn't spend most of his time with the math and the physics.

The exhibition explores the relationship between Jaroslav J. Polivka, the celebrated Czech/American engineer, and Frank Lloyd Wright, the consummate American .

Throughout his career, Frank Lloyd Wright had many collaborators who helped realize his daring vision of an organic architecture. This creative synergy is illustrated beautifully in the current exhibition at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society (on display through January 7, 2001). The exhibition explores the relationship between Jaroslav J. Polivka, the celebrated Czech/American engineer, and Frank Lloyd Wright, the consummate American architect, a relationship which, until now, seems to have escaped the attention of many Wright scholars.

The Wright/Polivka professional relationship first came to light through a unique collection of Polivka papers in the Archives of the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Someone unfamiliar who is looking at the TRUMP Whitehouse will say..

What’s that small building in the middle?
That is where the President lives

What about that small wing to the left?
Oh….thats where the executive branch operates

That huge building to the right must be important
Oh…..That’s the Ballroom

If he's being hired to do a job and he's afraid to do it the answer is pretty simple. The argument I'm having above based on a widespread misconception of exactly what it means to be an Architect.

An Architect is not a designer he is a person who has finished a degree of education instructional sciences that is specifically very math heavy and physics heavy. After that they may choose to dabble in style and design but that is definitely a subcategory of what their most important job is.

While there are brand name architects.... Frank Lloyd wright probably being the most well known amongst that group who have a tendency produce identifiable art in their work none of them are just paper mache wallpaper hangers.

Without the basic structural knowledge it doesn't make any difference what colors they choose or what style they want to decorate the outside of the building with. This man's objection to overshadowing the White House is completely outside the purpose for his hire. He is of course free to excuse himself from those duties if he doesn't want to be part of a project for that reason.

Shrug ....

If you showed a picture of the White House to 100% of students in the American schools today.... Maybe 10% would know what it was but I don't even have any confidence in that number.

Our downfall is in our own lack of self identity.

We are a nation that hates ourselves which is why China will be our master in less than 20 years.

Truth be told they already are.
